Voucher unposted multiple times - multiple trn. VO posted by no trans
Symptoms:
If an error occurs during the routing portion of a voucher unpost, the unpost financial transactions are created but the status of the voucher remains at Closed Unpaid since routing step was not successful in updating the status.
Solution:
The multiple unpost was caused by a failure during the routing step. It is the routing step that sets the status of the voucher back to In Entry. If it failed, the unpost would occur but the status would remain at Closed Unpaid. The problem has been corrected by forcing the voucher status manually if the routing step fails to do it. This ensures that after the unpost, the status of the voucher matches its actual unposted state.
