Fixed Assets UOP Method does not take salvage value into account
Symptoms:
The expected depreciation per unit of production is incorrect since the salvage value is not being deducted from the cost before dividing by the lifetime units of production.
Solution:
The formula now being used to calculate the expected depreciation per unit of production is asset cost less salvage value / lifetime units of production.
