Backlog report requeues multiple copies
Symptoms:
A user set up a recurring queue entry for the Backlog report. After the first run completed, two identical entries appeared in the queue. The next day, 4 entries were in the queue.
Solution:
The SQL statement used by the background process (database polling option only) returned multiple rows for some jobs (with multiple steps) leading to the job being run once for each row returned by the SQL statement. The problem was compounded when the job was requeued as the job was requeued multiple times as well. The SQL statement was fixed to return only one row.
