Stores Setup Backorder qtys do not showup when requested for display
00677 -
Bug: SR from WO without having approvals
Symptoms:
3364 Stores Setup Backorder qtys do not showup when requested for display. When looking at the “Stock Availability” tab for a Stores Request item that is on backorder, the “Reservations and Backorders by…” button shows enabled (as it should). When you click on the button, though, you get a popup message that “No reservations found in 4Site database “, and then the window is displayed with no data. If you do the same test for an item with a reserved qty, it works/displays fine. It is almost like the app is first looking for reservations, and if it cannot find them, it provides an error message and does not try to look for backorder qtys. See Screen Shots 3367 - You can create a stores request to a closed WO task It looks like the code is checking the WO status and not the individual task status. If I have the Codes DEFAULTS entry WOMNTTSKCHK = Y then the tasks are closed independently from the WO. So therefore they have a different status. I was able to click the < to move the stores resource on to the sreqline grid. I think the edit should be done there. Plus I was also able to submit the stores request.
Solution:
3367 The search for stores requests that contribute to the reservation quantity now includes stores requests created in the Work Order application. 3367 The creation of a stores request in the WO application now checks the status of the WO task and compares it to the minimum task status for Stores Request from the COdes application. If no codes entry exists, In Scheduling is the minimum status.
