LSG1007 Upgrade - payment records show as created by person 'deleted'.
Symptoms:
I was checking out the cheque transactions and found this on the account details screen. The person is showing as ‘Deleted’. This is showing up on all voucher payment (VP) records. The personid on the transactions does not exist in the 4Site person table.
Solution:
The cheque writer used a system database function to determine the database username of the person who is running the cheques. That database username is used to determine the personid and thus the name of that person. If the person is logged in as sa or someone who has database administrator privileges, the db function used returnd dbo rather than the actual database username. In that case, there is no person record with that database username so no person record is found and the name is displayed as 'deleted'.
