Enhancement Description:
An application is needed for entering and depreciating assets.
Solution:
The Fixed Asset Register is used for entering asset types and assets. Assets can be depreciated using a number of methods including straight line, declining balance, diminishing value, units of production, and sum of the years digits. The application creates and posts journal vouchers for each accounting period containing the depreciation amount for each asset in the system.
